Q:  How much does it cost to join?
A:  Only $99!  You can choose your own embroidery on select items!

Q:  What comes in the kit?
A:  This kit, with products and business materials valued at more than $250, offers an assortment of products that coordinate beautifully.  The kit includes 12 products in new prints chosen for their incredible organizing solutions – including two new products – as well as a Fabric Swatch Set, Stationery Sample Set with note cards, note pad and address labels.  The business materials include everything you need for your first 60 days and more, including Party with a Purpose cards to successfully offer Parties with a Purpose and to begin your Thirty-One career.  Items include:

Q:  What commission do you earn?
A:  All Consultants earn a 25% commission/discount from day one of joining; everyone has the potential to earn more if they choose to build a team.

Q:  What is the Qualification Kit?
A:  The Qualification Kit is available to purchase for only $99 when you (a new consultant) reach $1,000 in personal volume sales within 60 days from their enrollment start date.  This beautiful kit of personal accessories is valued at over $350 in products and business supplies.
This new kit provides an excellent opportunity for you to expand your business and your display.  Just like the Enrollment Kit, the Qualification Kit’s products coordinates in a variety of stylish black and white prints.  It all supports the Party with a Purpose concept and helps you show how Thirty-One helps the Girl-on-the-Go look good no matter her destination.!  Here is a picture of everything included in the Qualification Kit.  Some items may be substituted for a item.  This picture show the Pull Apart Cosmetic Case as being in the kit.  With the high demand of orders for this item the Laptop Case has permanently replaced the Pull Apart Cosmetic Case.

Q:  What commission do you earn on your downline if you build a team?
A:  See our Career Path document here.

Q:  Does the company provide a website for the Consultants; if so, how much does it cost?
A:  Yes, the website and newsletter are FREE your first 90 days or 3 months in business; after your first 90 days, the website is $9.95/mo. and the newsletter is $2.95.  These are both optional.  If you do not want to continue with either, you will need to contact Home Office to let them know.  You have the chance to earn both of these for FREE in your Startswell period for a year.

Q:  Do you keep your earnings upfront?
A:  Consultants submit their entire amount to the company.  The company pays commission on the 10th and 25th of every month either by direct deposit or mailing a check.  There is a $4 fee for every check mailed.

Q:  Are there any monthly quotas?’
A:  There are NO monthly minimum quotas.  An “active” Consultant is a Consultant who submits commissionable product sales of at least $200 in a consecutive three month period.  The $200 can be from personal purchases, retail orders, party orders, fundraiser orders, etc. and this does not have to be one individual order.  It can be a combination of the above. Here is a flier to give you a better picture.

Q:  Does the company pay for the Hostess program/special?
A:  Yes, Thirty-One pays for these and we have a new Customer and Hostess special each month.  Hostess items are not commissionable.

Q:  Is there any kind of training for Consultants?
A:  Yes, Thirty-One provides all Consultants with a Consultant-only website where you will find special announcements, updates, etc., as well as many tools, and training documents, recorded calls, video training, etc. 

Q:  How many Thirty-One Consultants are there?
A:  Thirty-One is WIDE OPEN!  We have numbers for states only at this point.

Q:  How much to business supplies cost?
A:  Again, this is subject to change, but I can tell you Thirty-One’s business supplies are always very affordable.  In your first 90 days, Thirty-One has a program called Start Swell.  Start Swell is a way for you to earn FREE business supplies (such as business cards, display boards, and more) with qualifying ($200+) parties.  The prices below are current as of Nov 2010.

            *Fall/Winter Catalogs – 50/$30 or 100/ $50
            *Order Forms – 100 pack/$8
            *Show invites – 6 sets of 40/$9
            *Hostess Fliers – 25/$5
            *Sponsoring Fliers – 25/$5

There are several more items Consultants can purchase but hopefully this gives you a general idea.

Q:  What are shipping costs?
A:  If a party ships to the hostess or Consultant, it is 8% of product total; direct-ship to customer is 8% of product total + $4.00.  Consultant shipping charge for supplies/orders is 8% of product total + $4.00.

Q:  Does the company allow Consultants to sell cash and carry items?
A:  Yes, In fact, Thirty-One Consultants can submit a form to the company and the Consultant will receive a gift certificate to be used toward catalogs.

Q:  Do Consultants ever get to purchase products at a bigger discount then 25%?
A:  Consultants may purchase products for personal use or for their Kit Display directly from the company at a 25% discount.  This discount can be taken in addition to monthly sale prices and specials.  In addition, Consultants are given 40% discount on one of each item in September.

Q:  Does the company offer other incentive such as trips, cash bonus, car, etc.?
A:   Thirty-One offers the chance for consultants to earn National Convention Bucks.  National Convention is held in July every year.  There are BIG cash bonuses for Directors as they promote more Directors.  These Director bonuses are continuous.  There is no limit on how many you can receive. 

Q:  If I become a consultant can I host my own party?
A:  You can host as many parties as you want a year.  This is a great way to help add to your display kit without paying out of your pocket.
